Outcomes:
The first phase of myPG was to set the goals for the future. Community conversations in Envisioning the Future will help to produce ‘big ideas’ about how people want to see Prince George grow and change in the future. For a complete overview of this part of myPG, you can read the Report on the Envisioning Phase of myPG (1.5mb file, takes a while to download and open, or right click and save to your computer).
The phase was open for community engagement from October 26, 2009 to January 14, 2010. Beginning with a Launch Event on October 26th, this phase focused on a grassroots, person-to-person approach in which city staff and other citizens held “visioning” discussions with friends, family, co-workers and volunteer organizations. The idea was to help you fit these critical conversations into your world, your schedule. For people that are short on time, there was also a 5 minute individual survey available.

Baseline Information and Document Library:
Baseline information for Prince George was available for background on the Social, Economic and Environmental areas current to 2009 to begin plan preparation, and for the "Dive Deeper" section of the workbook. The document library also lists the current plans, strategies and documents for Prince George for baseline data.
Survey Results Raw Data and Methodology:
The raw data file of all comments recieved and coded (question #1 and #2) for the goals and actions review is available.
