Timeline - Understanding Options

How do we reach the goals for the future?

Note: This phase has been completed.
Thank you to everyone who participated!

Outcomes of the Understanding Options phase:

1. Review and revise the community sustainability goals that had been communicated during the Envisioning the Future phase, through public and stakeholder review, and;

2. Developing actions (strategies) that will enable us to reach those goals
This work started with developing possible future Scenarios focused on external factors beyond our control that might affect if and how we reach our goals. The
Strategy Workshops then developed actions within our control to achieve the goals. A technical and public review improved the actions.

Download a one-page overview of the Understanding Options process in this myPG Update.

The table below provides an overview of the Understanding Options events as well as the information developed at each workshop, photos, and input information considered. Each workshop was attended by 35 to 45 stakeholders and representitive organizations. Workshops included an evening public review session open to the public from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (except the food security workshop).
